Our Purpose

At St-Georges, our work is first and foremost driven by inspiration and human commitment—fueling the development of high-performing, sustainable engineering projects. Where scientific rigor, a drive for innovation, and creative intelligence come together, we believe that the true strength of our expertise lies in our ability to demonstrate our approach.

Arrow Down

In engineering, technical expertise alone is not enough without the human insight that carries it. Listening, clear communication, and an understanding of people and context are integral to our practice. This human dimension is also about building connections, developing partnerships, and bridging the gap between the technical and the human. It allows us to synthesize, explain, and collaborate across disciplines.

Our Purpose

Beyond Engineering, an Inspiring Commitment

Driven by the conviction that engineering and business could be practiced differently, Éric St-Georges founded the firm in 2009. With a clear and deliberate vision, he laid the foundations for an independent company that puts people first—one grounded in rigor, collaboration, and thoughtful solutions. His ambition was simple: bring together talent, listen closely to real-world conditions, and demonstrate that an agile firm can deliver ambitious projects by working together.

Our Virtues

Values are claimed. Virtues are proven.

For us, a value is an intention — what we aspire to be.

A virtue is that value lived and expressed through concrete actions — especially when it’s difficult.

At STG, it is our virtues that define us day to day: listening, humility, collegiality, learning, respect, and commitment. They are reflected in the projects we deliver.

Our History

2009

In June 2009, Éric St-Georges and Frédéric Légeron founded Légeron St-Georges, a firm highly specialized in structural engineering. With the support of Diane and Yvan, two experienced technicians, the foundations were firmly in place—and everything was set in motion.

2011

Launch of our civil engineering and infrastructure department, giving new momentum to the firm’s growth.

2014

Relocation to our new offices at 175 Wellington Sud, providing the capacity to welcome up to 30 team members as we grew.

2016

Drawn by new opportunities and an exceptional region, we opened an office in Bromont.

2017

STG reaches a team of over 30 employees

2020

As Éric St-Georges began teaching BIM at the Université de Sherbrooke, BIM became fully embedded across all our projects.

2023

Launch of our new point cloud scanning and 3D modeling department, fully aligned with our BIM-driven approach.

2024

Another meaningful opportunity arose to relocate our Sherbrooke office to the remarkable site of the former Couvent des Sœurs de la Sainte-Famille on Galt Ouest, in Sherbrooke.

2025
