Wood Structures

Whether for commercial, multi-storey, institutional, or residential projects, engineered wood offers a wide range of configurations for which we deliver rigorous designs tailored to its complexity. As a living, fibrous material, wood cannot be analyzed or designed in the same manner as steel or concrete. We favor a proven approach inspired by traditional craftsmanship (mortise-and-tenon joints, interlocking connections, etc.).

Building Information Modeling (BIM)

We integrated the BIM methodology into our practice as early as 2014, recognizing its transformative impact on project design and coordination. Our professionals contributed to the development and teaching of the BIM course at the Université de Sherbrooke, actively supporting the advancement of industry best practices.

Today, BIM is used in the majority of our projects, and we also offer BIM management services, acting as BIM Manager when required. In this role, we coordinate models, establish project standards, manage clash detection processes, and oversee digital collaboration between disciplines. When properly implemented, BIM becomes a powerful optimization tool, enhancing coordination, improving deliverable quality, and supporting overall project performance.

Concrete and steel structures

Our engineers design reinforced concrete and steel structures for a wide range of projects, including commercial and institutional buildings, multi-storey developments, industrial and manufacturing facilities. Whether for large-span structures, complex systems, or projects with specific performance requirements, we deliver rigorous designs tailored to the project’s context and objectives. Our professionals also teach concrete and steel structural design at the Université de Sherbrooke, actively contributing to the education of future structural engineers.
