As a Structural Designer, you will actively contribute to the analysis, design, calculations, and technical follow-up of a wide variety of infrastructure projects, including municipal, institutional, industrial, and high-density multi-residential developments.
In this role, you will act as a technical resource for both clients and the internal team. You will coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring efficient workload distribution, interdisciplinary collaboration, and high-quality deliverables.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include :
- Actively participating in all phases of structural projects, from design to construction (calculations, modeling, drawings, specifications, estimates, etc.);
- Designing and contributing to structural projects involving buildings and concrete, steel, or wood structures;
- Performing structural sizing and design of elements such as beams, columns, slabs, and foundations;
- Carrying out structural modeling and analysis (loads, load combinations, structural behavior);
- Participating in foundation design in collaboration with geotechnical studies;
- Reviewing, coordinating, and validating plans and drawings produced internally and by suppliers/shop drawings;
- Preparing reports, calculation notes, technical studies, and specifications;
- Proposing and recommending technical solutions adapted to client needs and project constraints;
- Ensuring interdisciplinary coordination with architecture, mechanical, electrical, and civil teams;
- Coordinating external inputs such as geotechnical services, surveys, and site measurements;
- Following up on construction activities through site visits, compliance reviews, recommendations, reports, and payment approvals;
- Participating in the resolution of technical issues arising during projects or construction.

Requirements and Desired Skills
What you bring :
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering;
- 0 to 3 years of experience;
- Registered as an EIT (Engineer-in-Training) with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
- Proficiency with ADA, SAFI, ETABS, and SAFE software.
Bonus Asset :
- Experience in consulting engineering.
