In addition to design responsibilities, the Structural Project Manager is responsible for the planning, organization, direction, and control of work across multiple projects. You act as a key point of contact for both clients and the project team, overseeing the delivery of several projects simultaneously while ensuring team motivation, effective workload distribution, and client satisfaction. Your efforts and leadership directly contribute to the success of projects and to the strength of relationships with clients and collaborators.
Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the delivery of structural engineering projects (design, cost estimates, etc.)
- Manage multiple projects, including solution development, budget management, and schedule control
- Ensure effective communication between departments
- Lead and coordinate project teams
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients
- Prepare technical reports and studies
- Review, validate, and approve shop drawings
