The Sherbrooke-based company Cuisine Idéale entrusted St-Georges with the engineering mandate for the development of its new production facility. This modern building, with an area of approximately 100,000 sq. ft., also includes two storeys of office space totaling nearly 22,500 sq. ft., reflecting the company’s commitment to supporting its growth while modernizing its operations.

The building structure consists of a steel frame incorporating reinforced concrete elevator shafts and stairwells, all supported by conventional reinforced concrete foundations.

The mandate also included the design of the exterior works, encompassing parking areas, retaining walls adapted to the site’s sloping topography, and comprehensive stormwater and drainage management.

This large-scale project represents a key milestone in Cuisine Idéale’s development, enabling increased production capacity and strengthening its position as an industry leader, while contributing to the economic growth of the Sherbrooke region.
