The Stevens Footbridge project in Waterloo involved the complete removal of the culvert located beneath the cycling path crossing Lake Waterloo. Reconstruction work included demolition of the existing structure, installation of a new crossing structure, reconfiguration of the approaches, and full reconstruction of the cycling path.

The project improved the functionality and durability of the infrastructure while ensuring the continuity and safety of cycling path users.
